Daily Educational Tours

Summer Horseback Riding

The Rocky Mountain Wildlife Park is tucked away in the San Juan Mountain Range, fifteen minutes from Pagosa Springs, Colorado. At our facility, we offer a quiet and fun zoo like experience. Come see these amazing animals and learn about them through informational signs along the trail or join us on our daily feeding tour. On the tour, you follow along and learn from one of our animal caretakers about each animal we have at our facility. The tour is approximately one hour long. During the heat of the day, some of the animals may be resting in the shade or back in their houses; however we will always be happy to answer any questions you may have about the animals. We want to share our love, respect and knowledge of the native wildlife.
